NANO PARTICLE SIZE

Nano is a measurement of size. A centimetre is 100 times smaller than a metre, a nanometre is a billion times smaller than a metre. Put another way, a nanometre is about a million times smaller than the full stop at the end of this sentence. Particles smaller than 200 nanometres are considered 'nano particles'.

When it comes to absorbing nutrients, smaller is better but creating nutrients that small is not easy and requires advanced science, specialised machinery, and processing techniques.

OUR TECHNOLOGIES

Our innovative NanoFluidic™ technology uses clean, non-damaging botanical compound reduction processes to relax the bonds holding large clusters of insoluble nutrients together and reorganize them into nano-sized water-soluble packages that are more easily absorbed into the body.

Our particle reduction CleanCurcumin™ technology is a proprietary USA provisionally patented method that reduces the average Curcumin powder particle size by over 1000 times, to just 40 nanometers without the use of harmful chemicals or solvents, where trace amounts can remain with the processed Curcumin.

Nano Nutrients, CleanCurcumin™ offers superior bioavailability due to a particle size that is small enough to penetrate the cell nucleus - which is where the research shows the real magic happens for nutrition to get where you want it most.

CleanCurcumin™ is also water-soluble for optimal absorption into the body.

TRUE NANO-SCALE

The below imagery is from Professor Brian Oliver at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). It illustrates the spherical shaped Curcumin nanoparticles from our CleanCurcumin™.

"Nano Nutrients have achieved true nano-scale within their CleanCurcumin™. Our laboratory at UTS has confirmed nano-sized curcumin particles within their botanical technology, and my team and I are excited to continue further research with the Nano Nutrients team.”

For nutrients to have an effect on the body they must first be absorbed through the intestines and into the blood before they can interact with specific targets inside and outside the cell.

The intestines are covered in a moving layer of sticky mucus designed to stop bacteria and other contaminants from penetrating the intestine and instead push them out of the body as waste.

The mucus consists of a mixture of water and protein and for something to penetrate this layer, it must be water-soluble. And because the contents of the intestines are constantly being pushed along there is a limited amount of time for absorption to take place. If nutrients aren't absorbed quickly enough they will simply exit the body.

This picture of the intestine shows the opening of the pores, which is 400 nanometres in diameter. Nutrients smaller than 400 nanometres absorb through these pores making them bioavailable for the body to use. Nutrients that are larger than these pores have no chance of being absorbed.

Curcumin, is the most well-researched healing compound in the world with confirmed benefits in cancer, heart disease, diabetes, dementia, and pain but – it’s totally insoluble in water, so the body can’t absorb it.

Nature's Intelligence + Human Innovation = Pure, plant-based, water-soluble nutrients

Water Solubility Technology

The beaker on the left shows ordinary Curcumin powder (40,000nm) that was added to water, however, it will not dissolve and remains dry despite stirring. This is what happens in your intestines; it stays above the mucus layer, unable to be absorbed. The beaker on the right has an equal amount of the same Curcumin transformed into our water-soluble nanoparticles using our CleanCurcumin™ and NanoFluidic™ technologies.
